The Canadian Division of Rubie's Costume Company Inc. started out in 1990 in a small salesman's office. We moved into a 10,000 square foot facility shortly after and watched the incredible demand for our product force us to expand yet again. In 1994 the company moved to our present location in Markham. With our parent company making numerous acquisitions around the world, we began construction on an addition to our existing facility in the winter of 1999. By the late summer of 2000 we were able to move into our new distribution facility to better serve the Canadian market. At just shy of 100,000 square feet, we are the largest manufacturer and distributor of Halloween costumes and accessories in Canada. The same claim can be made by our parent company, except on a worldwide scale! Year after year, Rubie's has been the #1 choice for all your Halloween, Christmas, Easter and Dress-up needs. We continue to be the company of choice for licensors with perennial favourites... Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Barbie, Batman, Shrek and many more.
